- The inspiration comes from Bruno Munari´s unreadable books where it lies in the hands of the reader to interpret what the book is about, and it can depend on the readers mood, lighting conditions and so on. Munari also said that keeping an object as simple as possible while retaining its function was the biggest challenge for a designer.
Children have a great imagination and usually don’t need much to trigger it. The compartment provides a stage that transforms depending on its contents.
A banquet for crossbills in the forest of Snæfoksstaðir, where the table is set once a year with gourmet food, in the form of tableware, for the birds. Over the subsequent winter the birds will then eat the tableware until nothing remains.Landscape Design, Product Design2012
